Just inherited this - it was working until the spring and am sure it will work now - but know one knows how to start it, I know from watching gramps you pull the thing under the petrol tank, fiddle with the little roung thing on the engine - twiddle the lever on the handle bars - let it run them fiddle with the little round thing again and then pull back on the hanndle bar thinging and then off your go mowing - can anyone out there give me a clear 1 2 3 of what to do?
Thanks I really appreciate it

Open the fuel valve (under fuel tank). Mixture lever to rich (horizontal). Throttle to wide open then pull the start rope.
If in reasonable condition engine will start so mixture should be switched to weak. Lever vertical. You may need to twiddle between rich nad weak until motor warm.
If problem I can scan an advice page and send it. Address. Send your email address. Regards, TBJ

Hi there this may be some help to you,If you go onto youtube you may find some videos of people with your mowers.I found a few"how to start" videos for atcos and qualcasts so you may be able to adapt from these vids(they all work on a similar principle. Failing that you could always just play around and work it out, that makes it a little more fun,Just keep your hands out of the way of any harm, You wont damage the mower so dont fear it Do you find this valuable?
